Warehouse Scheduler - Stocktakes

Stocktake batches are created in Micronet using the Stocktake program – see "Inventory - Adjustments - Stocktake". They can also be created on a PDA.

When a stocktake batch is created and then posted as paperless (see "Stocktake Batch - File - Print Paperless"), Micronet saves the batch to the paperless queue where it waits to be assigned to a PDA through the Warehouse Scheduler - Stocktakes tab. The file can then be loaded onto the PDA for counting.

From the Warehouse Scheduler - Stocktakes tab, you can perform the following:

• view or change the status of a stocktake batch – see "Viewing or Changing the Status of a Stocktake Batch"
• change the stocktake method for one or more stocktake batches to overwrite the stock on hand figures with the stocktake count – see "Overwriting SOH with the Stocktake Quantity"
• assign a stocktake batch to a specific PDA – see "Assigning a Stocktake Batch to a PDA"
• inquire on a stocktake batch – see "Stocktake Inquiry"
• delete a stocktake batch – see "Deleting a Stocktake Batch"
• print stocktake reports – see "Stocktake Reports".

Technical Tip You can only make changes to stocktake batches if your user ID has the Allow Change on Schedule field for stocktakes set to Yes – see "Stock Take" (2.7) or "Stock Take (v2.8)".
